Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Book N’ Ride platform (“Book N’ Ride”, “we”, “our”, or “the Platform”), operated in Albania under a registered VAT number M01909019E.

By using the website and completing a booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About the Service

Book N’ Ride is an online vehicle rental marketplace that connects customers with independent car rental providers.

Book N’ Ride does not own rental vehicles and is not a party to the vehicle rental agreement between the customer and the rental provider.

Our role is limited to:

• displaying vehicle offers and availability,
• processing reservations and payments,
• issuing booking confirmations (“Voucher”),
• facilitating communication between the customer and rental provider.

2. Booking Process

When making a reservation, you select:

• vehicle category or specific vehicle (if guaranteed),
• rental dates,
• pick-up/drop-off location,
• additional services.

A booking is confirmed only after payment is successfully processed and a confirmation Voucher is issued via email.

Vehicle availability is subject to confirmation by the rental provider. In rare cases, a similar or higher-class vehicle may be provided instead.

3. Payments

Available payment methods may include:

• credit/debit cards,
• PayPal,
• other supported payment providers.

Depending on the rental provider, bookings may be:

• Partial Prepayment – part paid online, remaining balance paid at pick-up;
• Full Prepayment – full amount paid online;
• Pay on Arrival – payment made directly to the rental provider at pick-up.

Any security deposit required at vehicle collection is handled directly by the rental provider, not by Book N’ Ride.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made at least 48 hours before pick-up are eligible for Booking Credit for future use.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pick-up are generally non-refundable.
• No refunds are issued after the scheduled pick-up time.
• Bookings made within 48 hours of pick-up may be non-refundable.
• In case of a no-show, additional charges may apply.

Booking Credit is valid for up to 3 years unless otherwise stated.

5. Modifications

Booking modifications must be requested at least 48 hours before pick-up through the booking management section of the website.

Changes requested later may not be possible and are subject to provider approval.

6. Vehicle Pick-Up Requirements

The main driver must present:

• booking Voucher,
• valid driver’s license,
• passport or ID card,
• valid credit card in the driver’s name (if required),
• International Driving Permit if required by local law or provider policy.

Failure to provide required documents may result in refusal of the rental without refund.

7. Full Coverage Protection

Book N’ Ride may offer optional Full Coverage protection.

Full Coverage:

• is not an insurance product,
• does not replace the rental provider’s insurance,
• may reimburse eligible excess/deductible charges related to damage or theft, subject to limits and exclusions.

Terms, limits, and eligibility are provided during booking and in the Voucher.

8. Liability

Book N’ Ride is not responsible for:

• actions or omissions of rental providers,
• vehicle condition or availability,
• additional charges imposed by providers,
• blocked or charged security deposits,
• losses caused by incorrect customer information,
• indirect losses, delays, cancellations, or provider-related disputes.

The rental agreement itself is concluded directly between the customer and the rental provider.

9. Booking Termination

Book N’ Ride reserves the right to cancel or refuse a booking in cases including:

• suspected fraud or abuse,
• technical or pricing errors,
• provider unavailability,
• failed security or verification checks.

If a booking is cancelled by Book N’ Ride before pick-up, amounts paid to Book N’ Ride will be refunded where applicable.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable EU and Albanian data protection laws, including GDPR principles.

Customer information may be shared with the rental provider solely for booking and rental purposes.

11. Acceptable Use

The website may only be used for legitimate rental reservations.

Users must not:

• make false or fraudulent bookings,
• misuse the platform,
• attempt unauthorized access to the website or systems.

12. Complaints

Complaints relating to bookings should be submitted within 28 days after vehicle drop-off.

Complaints related to the rental experience itself may need to be addressed directly with the rental provider.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania.

Any disputes arising from the use of the platform shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Albanian courts.

14. Updates to These Terms

Book N’ Ride may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on the website.

Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
